Section N/A. What happened:
Poor communication between NOV and Halliburton regarding delivery of crucial elements (9 1/2″ Integral Blade Stabilizer Intelserv) for 9 7/8″ BHA. It resulted in a 6 day delay of said equipment. At this point, the operation was only some days away from spud, meaning it could have had severe consequences.

There was also a similar issue with a cross over supposedly sent to Halliburton base from NOV, but it was never registered in Halliburton Workshop inventory, resulting in NOV resending the item.

EDIT: Account Manager for Halliburton; Kent Allan Dahle, stepped in as a project manager to personally oversee all deliveries from Halliburton from here on out through the project.

What Was Planned

Halliburton/NOV

What Was Learned

It is now known that the apparent communication between Halliburton and NOV (when using wired pipe) is subpar. A need for a live document for all service providers to constantly update their fields throughout the planning phase would greatly reduce the risk of this incident occurring again.

What Actions Are Required

A live excel document accessible for all relevant service providers (coordinators) on PP, to be updated continously to provide a real-time status overview
